I’m not really sure why I am posting on the 4th. It’s not like anyone out there would choose reading this over a barbecue but hey, it makes me feel good so why not?
Today I think we will talk about commitment.

Not all of you have the amount of time that I have to commit to your writing. I’m one of the lucky ones in that I have no other real responsibilities during the day. Oh sure, I do some housework, and I cook my share of dinners, but writing is my job, and I have no little kids to take care of or any other chores that will keep me away from my passion.
Still…..
Today I want to talk about the commitment to improve at writing. That, I think, is a commitment anyone can make no matter how much time they have during the day to write.
Are you committed to being the best writer you can be?
If not, I simply don’t understand the point in writing.

Sorry I’m late to the party. I had to finish up my travel articles and get them in before the deadline. Yes, I worked today! But now I have the weekend free. I’ll probably venture outside when my neighbors start shooting off fireworks.

Sha, something I learned early on in this business is that if holidays fall on a weekday, then they really aren’t holidays. LOL Have a good weekend.

Hi Billybuc, read this yesterday, but my husband and I left for the Arnot Mall for the day, dinner out, then saw the movie “Tammy” -very, very funny…bed late, pushing midnight…
so here I am out of sync, overslept, but got my walk in…beautiful breeze from God this morning. Loved your post and yes, I AM committed to writing. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture you posted so inspiring. Glad you have Bev to keep your writing under control. 🙂
