You haven’t seen this blog for quite awhile now simply because I had to return to the normal workplace to make money desperately needed. There, my friends, is the reality of being a writer, or musician, or artist…..unless you are famous, there is always the possibility that you’ll have to supplement your income with a “normal” job to support your writing habit.
It’s all good. I’m getting things done, we are making some money and I’m still moving forward with my writing career….just a little slower than I once was. And I’m sure things will change again in the future because, well, change is constant.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY
What do writers do? They either inform or they entertain, right? It’s either or, or am I missing some other direct result of writing?
Well, as a matter of fact, there is one other thing we writers do, and it took me quite awhile to realize it. Can you guess what it is?
Writers inspire! Writers uplift! Writers deliver happiness! Writers transcend reality! Writers carry on tradition! Writers perpetuate culture! Writers give voice to the silent and highlight the invisible.
We do all that and more.
Are you getting rich writing? Probably not. You’re probably a lot like me, struggling to make enough to pay a couple bills. Our “pay per hour’ while writing is laughable, and there are times when we have to question our own sanity.
Those are the times when we need to remind ourselves that what we are doing is important….nay, what we are doing is crucial…..and society needs us.
TIP OF THE DAY
Don’t tell me you don’t have time to write.
Make time!
